Last Train to Nowhere, ©Jory Blagden Apr 2006
Wheels are rollin' down the tracks in my mind
Another memory is left behind
Smokes blowin' circles up in the sky
Another tear drop fall from my eye
Chorus
Because the last train to nowhere is on its way
I just want my ticket it leaves today
And the last thing I'll remember is hearing her say
There no way you can pay
We've worked the land all of our lives
Barely had enough to get by
It's hot as hell and the river is dry
But we all know a county boy can survive
Chorus
I like watch the sunset in the western sky
But in all it's glory it still passes by
Chorus
